Backup of the network element configuration data is required for routine maintenance to ensure that the network element automatically recovers operation after the main control board loses data or the device is powered down. Backing up the network element configuration data to the main control board means backing up the network element configuration data to the FLASH of the main control board. When the network element restarts after a power failure, the main control board automatically reads the configuration from FLASH and sends it down to the single board.

Prerequisite

The user has the privilege of "Network Element Maintainer" or above.

You can log in to the network element as a "system level" network element user.

Operating Procedures

Select "Configuration > Network Element Configuration Data Management" in the main menu.

Select the network element in the object tree on the left and click.

Select one or more network elements in the Configuration Data Management List.

Select Backup Network Element Data > Backup Database to Master Board.

Click OK in the confirmation dialog box.

The "Result" dialog box will pop up. Click Close when the backup is successful.
