Replacement of dust screens
The maintenance intervals can be adjusted according to the specific cleaning conditions of the machine room. In an environment that meets the requirements of ETSI EN 300 019-2-3 Class 3.1, the cleaning cycle for the dust screens is 3 months. In an environment that meets the requirements of ETSI EN 300 019-2-3 Class 3.2, the cleaning cycle for the dust screen is 1 month.
Precautions
Caution:
- During the dust net replacement process, be careful not to pull out the fan when pulling out the dust net to avoid affecting the heat dissipation of the equipment.
- When removing the dust net, hold it gently to prevent the dust from spreading.
- When cleaning the dust screen, you can clean the accumulated dust at the bottom of the subrack first, and then clean the dust screen.
- Do not allow the fan to be turned off when replacing the dust screen.
- Only the dust screens of OptiX OSN 3500 and OptiX OSN 7500 products can be mixed.
- Pay attention to the smoothness of the air ducts, do not block the air inlet (lower part of the cabinet) and outlet (upper part of the subrack and the top of the cabinet, pay attention to it when laying cables) of the cabinet, and do not place any debris on top of the subrack to ensure the ventilation.
- In the process ofcleaningthe dust net,whenpulling out thedust net, pay attention not to pull out the fan to avoid affecting the heat dissipation of the equipment.
Operation Steps
- Select spare parts.
Instructions:OptiX OSN 1500: Uniform replacement of the wire dust screen. Advantage over wire dust screens is the improved ability to dissipate heat from the unit.
Other products: Uniformly adopt the silk woven dust screen.
- Remove the dust net. For the position of the dust net, please refer to the reference information.
- OptiX OSN 1500: Pull on the pull handle of the dust screen and pull out the dust screen to be replaced.
- Other products: Pull out the dust screen to be replaced by gripping the groove of the dust screen panel with your hand.
- Insert the new dust screen back into its original position.
- OptiX OSN 1500: Adjust the position of the dust screen by gently pushing it along the slide-in guides on the left side of the blower box, and insert the dust screen back into its original position.
- Other products: Gently push the dust screen into place by adjusting the position along the slide-in guides underneath the fan box, and insert the dust screen back into its original position.
- OptiX OSN 2500, OptiX OSN 3500, OptiX OSN 3500 II, OptiX OSN 7500: After the sponge has dried, reattach it to the dust screen. Then gently insert the dust screen back into place along the guide groove under the subrack.
