Phenomenon Description
The PWRB indicator on the N1GSCC of the OptiX OSN 3500 network element main control board lights up red, and the network management reports POWER_ABNORMAL alarm. The second power supply voltage is -54V with 20% float. After reversing the two power supplies, this alarm is still reported on the network management.
Cause Analysis
After confirming the alarm, it was found that the cause of the alarm was the incorrect jumper setting of the main control board, and the jumper caps of the J17 and J16 jumpers had been removed.
The J17 and J16 jumpers of N1GSCC are used to control the input voltage used by the device.
- Remove the jumper caps: the device uses a power supply with an input voltage of -60V.
- Retaining the jumper cap: the device uses a power supply with an input voltage of -48V.
