Phenomenon Description
- When the input signal optical power of the Box Fiber Amplifier 62COA is between -43dBm and -20dBm, but higher than the locked output optical power value, the output optical power attenuates by 2dBm, and the 62COA fails to work normally.
- The device reports the OUT_PWR_ABN alarm.
Cause Analysis
The default locked output optical power of the Box Fiber Amplifier 62COA is -26dBm, and when the optical power of the input signal of the 62COA is higher than -26dBm, the 62COA fails to work normally.
Operation steps
- Add an optical power attenuator at the upstream signal transmitting site, and it is recommended that the optical power value input to the 62COA is between -39dBm and -26dBm.
