The meaning of each parameter is as follows.

Refers to the normal state. The device does not need to set loopback for normal operation. |

Internal Loopback |
Within the device at this end, the services output from an Ethernet port are looped back into that port at the physical layer of that port. |

External Loopback |
Within this end device, loops back the services coming into an Ethernet port out of the physical layer of that port. |
