Protection requirements

The panel of the SS49SCBL single board has single board indicators, interfaces, bar codes, and laser security level labels.

The following panel diagram of the SCB single board is introduced as an example of the SC optical interface type of the SS49SCB VER.B, as shown in Figure 1.
The panel of the SCB veneer board has a device status indicator, a network management interface indicator, a data port indicator, and an optical interface indicator, and the descriptions of the indicators are shown in Table 2.
The SYNC 1/2 external clock interface pin descriptions are shown in Table 3.
The Ethernet network management interface pin descriptions are shown in Table 4.
COM2, ALM OUT1, and MODEM (F) interface pin descriptions are shown in Table 5.

The optical interface on the SCB single board panel is an SC/LC type optical interface for sending and receiving TM-1/STM-4/STM-16S optical signals.
The SCB single board integrates the main control SCC (System Control & Communication), crossover XC (Cross-Connect), clock STG (Synchronous Timing Generator), and official business EOW (Engineering Orderwire), STM-1/STM-4/STM-16 line (OI2D/OI4D/OI16D) and E1 branch (SP2D) units.
The functions and features supported by the SCB single board are shown in Table 1.
The SS46SCB does not support the 1588 V2 time feature, business phone, and transparent data port, while the IU3 slot does not support ECC communications.
The SCB single board technical specifications include optical interface specifications, electrical interface specifications, single board size, weight and power consumption.
SCB single board integrates line interface of STM-1/STM-4/STM-16 optical interface rate, STM-1 optical interface is called OI2D, STM-4 optical interface is called OI4D, and STM-16 optical interface is called OI16D.
The SCB veneer board integrates 16 E1 electrical interfaces, and the E1 tributary veneer board is called SP2D. For the electrical interface specifications of the SP2D veneer board, please refer to the technical specifications.

The maximum power consumption of the SS49SCBL single board at room temperature (25°C) is 21W.
The maximum power consumption of SS46SCB veneer board is 25W at room temperature (25℃).
