Through two PIU single boards, two -48V/-60V DC power supplies can be fed at the same time. The two power supplies are backups for each other, if any one of them fails, the other one will be put into working state, which can still ensure the normal operation of the equipment. When the two external power supply voltages are equal, the two backup PIU boards share half of the current each. When the difference between the two external power supply voltages is greater than 0.7V, the PIU board with higher external voltage will bear the total current of the equipment, and the PIU board with lower external voltage will not pass any current. When only one PIU veneer is working, the subrack power supply is not affected. Description:

| Protection of single board under abnormal condition |
The protection methods under abnormal conditions include power failure protection during software loading, power under-voltage or over-voltage protection, over-temperature alarm and other single-board protection methods. Power failure protection during software loading Application programs and data have checksum functions. After the interruption of loading, BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) will not start the programs and data that have not been loaded successfully, but wait to continue loading until the software is loaded successfully. Provide over-voltage and under-voltage protection for power supply There are lightning protection devices on the power supply board, which can effectively inhibit the harm that may be caused by instantaneous high voltage (e.g. lightning strike). The single board will automatically reset the CPU (Center Processing Unit) when the voltage is too low and the software reinitializes the chip. The power supply system will automatically cut off the main circuit power supply when the voltage is too low, so that the system is protected.
