Parameter 1
For mixed line veneer:
- When parameter 1 is 0x34 it means that the fault is detected by heartbeat detection method.
- When parameter 1 is 0x13 and parameter 2 is 0x02, it is necessary to represent different meanings depending on the value of parameter 3, please refer to parameter 3 for details.
For the cross-clocked single board, it represents the type of cause leading to the hardware failure.
- bit[0]=1 indicates that the hardware automatically detects the problem and sets it bad.
- bit[1]=1 means the software patrol found the problem and set bad.
For the main control board.
- When parameter 1 ≠ 0xFF, then parameter 1 represents the board number of the single board with 2K/8K line failure.
- When parameter 1=0xFF, no meaning.
For TDM domain ATM veneer, switched data veneer, and RPR veneer the value of parameter 1 is fixed to 0x01.
For SAN/Video (MST4) veneer boards, parameter 1 represents the hardware failure type.
- The bit[0]=1 indicates that there is a crystal failure.
For Video (VST4) single board, parameter 1 is fixed to 0x01 and is meaningless.
For Packet Processing Single Board, Packet Interface Single Board, Dual Domain Bridging Single Board, Transmission Data Single Board, and OBU1 Single Board, the failure causes represented are as follows:
- 0x01 indicates that the power module is working abnormally.
- 0x02 indicates that the single board is not reliably installed. (The single board is not in reliable contact with the mother board, such as the single board is not inserted tightly.)
- 0x03 indicates that the 38M system clock 1 is abnormal.
- 0x04 indicates that 38M system clock 2 is abnormal.
- 0x05 indicates a 2M clock source exception.
- 0x06 indicates a digital phase-locked loop exception.
- 0x07 indicates 38M service clock loss.
- 0x08 indicates a bus exception.
- 0x09 indicates TPS protection board abnormality.
- 0x0A indicates that the clock main crystal stopped oscillating.
- 0x0B indicates that the frequency offset of the main crystal is too large.

- When parameter 1 = 0x34, parameter 2 indicates the number of the channel on which the heartbeat telegram is sent.
- When parameter 1=0x13 and parameter 2=0x02, it is necessary to represent different meanings depending on the value of parameter 3, please refer to parameter 3 for details.
For the cross-clocked single board, it represents the specific damage cause of the hardware detection class.
For the main control single board:- When parameter 1 ≠ 0xFF, parameter 2 to parameter 5 = 0xFF, meaningless.
- When parameter 1 = 0xFF, then parameter 2 to parameter 3 = 0xFF, meaningless. Parameter 4 and parameter 5 represent different meanings, please refer to parameter 4 and parameter 5 respectively for details.
For TDM domain ATM veneer, parameter 2 and parameter 3 represent the veneer failure type. Parameter 2 is a fixed value of 0x01 indicating a single board clock fault.
For Video (VST4) veneer, parameter 2 has a fixed value of 0x01 and is meaningless.

When parameter 1=0x13 and parameter 2=0x02, parameter 3 takes the following values:
- 0x01 indicates inter-board communication channel 1 failure.
- 0x02 indicates that the FE rate channel (belonging to channel 2) of inter-board communication has failed.
- 0x03 indicates a GE rate channel (belonging to channel 2) failure for inter-board communication.
For cross-clocked veneer boards, represents the specific cause of damage in the software detection category.
For SAN/Video (MST4) veneer boards, represents crystal failure type.
- 0x01 represents 212M crystal failure.
- 0x02 represents a 125M crystal failure.
- 0x04 indicates that the 100M crystal has failed.
- 0x08 indicates that the 135M crystal has failed.
Parameter 4
For the cross-clocked single board, the meaning of parameter 4 is as follows:
- bit[0]=1 indicates that the indentation register read/write failed.
- bit[1]=1 indicates QDR (Quad Data Rate) power-up self-test failure.
- bit[2]=1 indicates that APS (Automatic Protection Switching) logic lookup table return failure.
- bit[3]=1 indicates that the APS logic load state detection has failed.
- bit[5]=1 indicates that the control logic sends the cross-board master and backup status of the APS logic through the hardware connection line, which is inconsistent with the status actually detected by the control logic.
- bit[6]=1 indicates that the APS logic phase-locked loop is out of lock.
For the master board, if parameter 1=0xFF, parameter 4 represents a different meaning.
For GSCC single board, the meaning of parameter 4 is as follows:- bit[0]=1 indicates that the software detects a bad hardware placement.

- bit[4]=1 indicates a 33M crystal failure.
- bit[5]=1 indicates a 25M crystal failure.

For Video (VST4) single board, represents the fault type.
- bit[0]=1 indicates a 66M PCI clock failure.

A bit of 1 indicates that the alarm exists, and a bit of 0 indicates that the alarm does not exist. Multiple bits can be in effect at the same time.
Parameter 5
For the master board, if parameter 1 = 0xFF, parameter 5 represents a different meaning.
For GSCC single board, the meaning of parameter 5 is as follows:- bit[0]=1 indicates that the 3.3V power module of this board is faulty.
- bit[1]=1 indicates that the Ethernet port (ETH) between the master and the network management is faulty.
- bit[2]=1 indicates a failure of the Ethernet port for inter-board communication between the master and other single boards.
- bit[3]=1 indicates an internal network port failure between the master and backup master.
- bit[4]=1 indicates a 1.8432M crystal failure.
For SCA single board, the meaning of parameter 5 is as follows:- bit[0]=1 indicates a 3.3V power module failure on this board.
- bit[1]=1 indicates that the Ethernet port (ETH) between the master and the network management has failed.
- bit[2]=1 indicates a failure of the Ethernet port for inter-board communication between the master and other single boards.
- bit[3]=1 indicates an internal network port failure between the master and backup master.
- bit[4]=1 indicates a 125M clock failure.

Remarks
